Former Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will deliver remarks, followed by a panel discussion on Renewable Energy and Agriculture led by Rohan Williamson, McDonough School of Business associate professor. Panelists CEO of Growth Energy Tom Buis and farm owners Ralph Kaehler, Tony Rossman, and Trent Linkenmeyer will discuss how to feed the world; the business side of farming; international agriculture; third world development; ethanol and biofuels, subsidies, and the environment and its relation to modern agriculture.
